Duolingo:
The Duolingo English Test (DET) has gained recognition as an alternative to traditional English proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS. Some universities in the U.S. accept DET scores for admissions purposes. The best score for Duolingo in order to study in US universities would be 105 overall for undergraduates and 115 overall for the graduates but if we look beyond the minimum score then the US universities accept 90 overall for the undergraduates and 100 overall for the graduates.
TOEFL:
TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. It is another widely recognized standardized test used to assess the English language proficiency of non-native English speakers. The TOEFL test is primarily used by universities and colleges in English-speaking countries, it is taken as evidence of English language skills. While mentioning the minimum TOEFL requirement in universities, that would be 70 for undergraduates and 80 for graduates.
Academic score:
Academic score plays a vital role in getting accepted in US universities. This could also be a crucial part for students to get scholarships. The minimum academic scores accepted by US universities are: undergraduates - 2.4 GPA or equivalent, graduates - 2.7 GPA or equivalent.
