SUNY Morrisville is a public college that was established in 1908 with two locations in New York, one in Morrisville and one in Norwich. The State University of New York system includes it. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and provides three certificate programs, 52 associate degrees, and 23 bachelor's degrees. The campus occupies 150 acres (0.61 km2) of land built for both academic and non-academic purposes.


SUNY Morrisville, also known as Morrisville State College  offers more than 75 degree programs, including bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, and certificates, in fields such as agriculture, business, engineering, health sciences, and liberal arts. The college is organized into three schools: the School of Agriculture, Business & Technology; the School of Liberal Arts, Sciences & Society; and the School of Nursing & Health Sciences.


SUNY Morrisville has a diverse student body of over 3,000 undergraduate students from across the United States and around the world. There are more than 48 buildings on the campus, multiple athletic fields, and 1,000 acres (4.0 km2) of farmland and woodland that are managed by the institution. The campus is located on 150 acres (0.61 km2) of land.The campus features modern facilities, including residence halls, athletic facilities, a student center, and a state-of-the-art dairy complex. The college also has a strong athletics program, with 18 varsity sports teams that compete in NCAA Division III.
